We’re on to our next Minecraft adventure, and this one will be all about keeping safe online – one of the most important 21st century skills you can gift to your children! If you are looking for a creative way to help your kids really “get” the concepts of how to go online and navigate the digital world safely, then this is it.
The Future-Craft Digital Safety Worlds are purposefully designed to help kids who are using digital devices, the internet, apps and games, to learn in a creative, engaging and entertaining way, about online risks, and how to identify and avoid situations that could threaten their safety. Covering all the key pitfalls that kids in today’s online world need to know about, the Game to Grow incidental learning approach poses challenges and tasks along the way that will help embed the principles we all need our kids to understand and apply.
What will we cover?
Privacy – sharing information and photos, Stranger Danger, passwords and privacy settings
Kindness – online friendships, online behaviour, digital footprint, Upstanders vs Bystanders
Real vs Fake – clickbait and downloads, scams and phishing, fake news, online identities
